An English breakfast in Bugibba, and in a very English type of establishment. Fat Harry’s (or Mirabelle, as the restaurant section is called) is pretty much what you would expect from an English pub in a sunny location, and is definitely targeting the Brits Abroad demographic. So what can I tell you about this version of the Full English? Well it only costs €3.50, including a standard issue instant coffee, so good marks for value. And the toast comes pre-buttered, so you don’t have to fiddle around with those little plastic butter tubs.
It is a decent stab at a breakfast, nice staff, nice location just off the main square in Bugibba, so no complaints. Best in Malta? Nope. But if you’re in the area you could do worse.
