I call it… pause for drumroll… the Best Breakfast in Bugibba. No mean feat given the considerable competition in this seaside town, but Pjazza gets the award for me.
Again I have the fat man’s bias when it comes to the Full English, so this is a large plateful. The inner or metaphroical fat man, I should stress, since despite the fried food intake I do still manage to squeeze into regular fit jeans.
Well the inner fat man busting to get out is certainly aided and abetted by what’s on the menu at Pjazza. I sometimes consider going for the standard sized breakfast, but such heretical thoughts rarely last long.
It’s not just a breakfast pitstop either. There are alcoholic beverages, meals of the Mediterranean variety (so lots of pizzas), TVs showing your favourite sporting teams and even a bunch of pool tables and games out back for kids of all ages.
You will find the Tal Pjazza restaurant just off the main square in Bugibba, and a fat man’s breakfast costs about €7 including juice and coffee.
