You may have developed some concerns about my physical well-being, given the number of English breakfasts I have gone through over the past months. It seems that Ta Tanti (the outdoor cafe next to Fortizza) has similar concerns for it’s patrons. Because their full English comes with something rather out of the ordinary: Salad.
I am not sure whether this constitutes a world first, but it is not something I have encountered myself on my culinary misadventures. Apart from the traditional staples, they have added cold tomatoes, lettuce with mayonnaise, and olives.
Olives!
Anyway, having recovered from the initial shock, the breakfast itself is pretty nice.
But I’m afraid I couldn’t bring myself to finish the salad. It’s just not quite right..

That is a pathetic excuse for a salad and it shoudn’t be there. There is no place for a garnish on a full English! (Are they Wudy sausages??) ewww….
No, a salad cannot disguise the inherently unhealthy nature of an English breakfast..
