St Patrick’s Day in Malta

There are three Irish pubs in the Sliema/St Julian’s area (Dubliner, Corks, Ryans) so these are the obvious places to go looking for pints of the Black Stuff.   The Cork is a small bar, and was spilling out onto the street by late evening, and Ryan’s got an early start by running promotions between 9.30am and 12.30 in the afternoon.  But The Dubliner is the daddy of Irish pubs around here.  They have been so busy on this day in years past that the police have been called to try to control the overflow onto the street.  So buy tamoxifen online usa this year they had to run a system where only people with bracelets were allowed in, in an attempt to curb the crowds a little.

But there are plenty of alternatives apart from the three above… it’s a Good Day to be Irish, whichever nationality you are.

The Guinness marketing division (Malta Branch) cranks into gear and green white and orange balloons and flags are everywhere.  And the local populace is not slow to embrace this excuse to drink pints of beer before lunchtime.  Good Work Guinness!
